WHAT'S UP WEDNESDAY...HOLIDAY EDITION

What a week does not even begin to sum up all the things that happened! One of our boys got engaged, our last one graduated from college and the holiday season is in full swing.

I just realized that I don’t think Shay and Sheaffer are doing this link-up this month but I have lots of What’s Up to share so I’m moving forward.

Let's get to it!

1: WHAT WE’RE EATING THIS WEEK: It’s really more about what all is being made, my goodness, so much baking and cooking and all the things, but here are some favorites/traditions. And of course we are munching on some healthier options like the Festive Christmas Fruit Wreath I made on Monday!

My annual Red Velvet Cake. See how I make it HERE

Date Pinwheels..my mom's specialty and she makes them every year for me. Recipe HERE.

Of course I put together my annual Cookie Trays, just not as many this year.

Oh and I did make Sheet pan Mongolian Beef for dinner one night…so tasty

2. WHAT I’M REMINISCING ABOUT:

This was the last picture taken of the boys before the youngest on the right, stopped believing in Santa. Going to try and re-create it on Christmas.

This is one of my favorite pictures on Christmas morning of my mom and I in our satin pajamas over 30 years ago.

3: WHAT I’M LOVING:

That these 2 cuties made it official! We’re getting a daughter!!

That our youngest graduated from college early and magna cum laude at that.

I feel like a broken record talking about this but so many of you have purchased it and are loving it just like I do so I just wanted to mention once again, my favorite beauty brand of the year and probably forever, Serovital! Getting my Chick-FIL-A Peppermint Chip Shake weekly!

4: WHAT WE’VE BEEN UP TO: Stella Mae’s first birthday last week and how this time last year didn’t even know she would be a reality.

Attended a fun party Saturday night..about 40-50 there in our friend's beautiful home. So much fun!

And me: Wrapping, shopping, cooking and baking, and more wrapping, shopping, cooking and baking and all those last-minute errands. lol

5: WHAT I’M DREADING:

Christmas going way too fast, it always does so I want to absorb every second!

6: WHAT I’M WORKING ON: I’ve been buying all the things and will get the berries In a couple days to make this on Christmas Day..so pretty!!

7: WHAT I’M EXCITED ABOUT:

A festive Christmas Dinner tonight. A Blizzard Headed our way.

Christmas Cards Sent and Received. So happy to get out family Christmas cards this year. I missed doing it last year. Even though the boys live on their own, nice to have the crew together for these cards and on the back, I put all 3 of them with their gals. Fun seeing the cards come in too. I hang them around the window in our kitchen. Next year they'll be a wifey in it!!

AND...

Honestly, beside's the holiday's, The art of doing nothing. I always do, do, do so a little downtime will be so nice!

8: WHAT I’M WATCHING & READING:

From Scratch, Yellowstone, 1923 and Tomorrow Binging: EMILY IN PARIS!!

9: WHAT I’M LISTENING TO:

Christmas Music!

10: WHAT I’M WEARING:
