RATE THE PUMPKIN SPICE TREATS

Oh how you know I'm getting my pumpkin on BIG TIME! From the girl who despises pumpkin pie, my blood runs orange with pumpkin spice everything else! What started with a latte has morphed into a whole merchandise season. Truth be told, I've been making my beloved pumpkin products for over 15 years. My first pumpkin baked good was my

 Deliciously pumpkin-y!

Being able to buy pumpkin spice flavored products is a newer novelty growing with each year. I have complied a Pumpkin Spice Product Review of several popular products and where I bought them in my neck of the woods, although most are offered at many different stores..after all, it is MEGA PUMPKIN MARKETING!!
I will be rating these on a scale of
one pumpkin to 5 pumpkins

~Tazo Pumpkin Spice Chai Latte
4 Pumpkins. This is creamy and delicious and combines two of my favorite flavors: Pumpkin and chai! It warms your insides on the chilly Fall Day. Only thing that would make it five out of five stars was if it has less sugar. Target Purchase.

~Thomas Pumpkin Spice English Muffins
5 Pumpkins. These dense and chewy English Muffins have just the right amount of cinnamon and pumpkin to take them to the Fall "wow these are good" level. I like them with either a smudge of butter/cinnamon and sugar or this wonderful stuff......Meijer Purchase.

~Clearbrook Farms Pumpkin Fruit Butter
5 Pumpkins. I first found this at HomeGoods and find it most frequently at TJ Maxx. Clearbrook does have a website but it is cheaper at the retailers as no shipping. It is delicious on the English Muffins. Just the right amount of sweetness.

~Peppridge Farms Pumpkin Cheesecake Cookies
4 Pumpkins. The chunks of white choclate are what makes this. I don't really take cheesecake flare but the pumpkin cookie is not overpowering and very soft. Meijer Purchase.

~Krispy Kreme Pumpkin Spice Cake Doughnuts
5 Pumpkins. I have to say, the ultimate favorite pumpkin doughnut of all time! Perfect flavor, great glazed topping, warmed in micro for 10 seconds...heaven, pure pumpkin heaven!! Keep in mind, I buy these at the grocery store, not KK. If I could give them 10 out of five stars I would and I guess I can so 10 outta five!
so ok, here is 5 more for a 10!!! At Meijer and Kroger.

~Coffee Mate Pumpkin Spice Natural Bliss Coffee Creamer
4 Pumpkins. This is the creamiest creamer I have found and I love the Bliss line as nothing artificial  no GMO's and all natural ingredients. Meijer purchase.

~Noosa Pumpkin Yogurt
5 Pumpkins. I used to buy the bigger tubs of this amazing yogurt but I would want to eat the whole thing and it is a little higher in Fat content if you eat too much but the lil mini cups in a 4 pack! Perfect and packs such a protein punch, it is worth it!! So creamy and like a pumpkin dessert with a little tang! I find these 4 packs at Target.

~Chobani Greek Yogurt Flip...Pumpkin Harvest Crisp
3 Pumpkins. Mmm just ok, I would say. I love additions in my yogurt but the Chobani brand itself is not my favorite in the greek yogurt amily. My favorite were the little pecan pieces but this is higher in calories with the add in's. Another Target purchase.

~Voortman Pumpkin Spice Wafers
4 Pumpkins. Umm weirdest place to get pumpkin spice cookies but we found these at Menards and at a great price. I Like these kinds of wafer cookies, not love, but only if they are very fresh, no good when they start going stale. Perfect ratio of pumpkin spice cream and wafer. Tae about utter disappointment. iw sos excited to ge these a couple years ago and they are jus not that good.Too articiafial of a pumpkin flair and there is one spice in there that is just overpowering.

~Pumpkin Spice Cherrios
2 Pumpkins. Talk about utter disappointment. I was so excited to get these a couple years ago and they are just not that good. Too articiafial of a pumpkin flavor and there is one spice in there that is just overpowering. Target Purchase.

~Special K Pumpkin Spice Crunch Cereal
5 Pumpkins. Now, here is a  cereal I can get behind! I always love Special K cereals and to me, this is the BEST one yet. Perfect crisp flakes and nuggets of pumpkin goodness, mixed with milk..yum and heck, I have had this for supper a couple nights. Target purchase.

~Werther's Original Pumpkin Spice Soft Caramels
5 Pumpkins. Kids, I am so in love with this mix of soft, sweet caramel with a little pumpkin and you have a partaaay going on. I like to eat a honey crisp apple with some of these for a pumpkin caramel apple Fall treat. This are perfect!! I found these at Target.

~Nestle Toll House Pumpkin Spice Morsels
2 Pumpkins. Dang, another disappointment. Now, right outta the bag, these are like gross, spit out artificial yucky. But I will say they are better in baked goods, but I think I'll stick to other chips for Fall and just add pumpkin puree. These just weren't baking worthy enough. Meijer purchase.

I have tried many other pumpkin products but these were the ones I wanted to review. With so many more out there, I get excited each fall season to try something different. So of all these, winner of the BEST PUMPKIN TREAT goes to the Krispy Kreme Pumpkin Doughnuts. ALL THE PUMPKINS!!!!!

I know some of you despise pumpkin, including my BFF, but for those of you that love it, I'd LOVE to hear what some of your favorite pumpkin products are!

SO this brings me to.....GUESS WHAT IS BACK TOMORROW??? PUMPKIN PALOOZA 2.0!!!!

xoxo

  3. What a fun post, Andrea! Love how you rated them by number of pumpkins! That's too bad about the Cheerios. I had high hopes for them! I will have to check out the English muffins though. I love the double protein and the pumpkin spice sounds like the perfect fall breakfast! Happy Monday!

  6. Well pumpkins over here haven't got further than the greengrocer, so I'm agog at what's happening to them over the pond. And please put my mind at ease, what makes up pumpkin spice, why does it go in just about everything and DOES it go with just about everything? Hugs, a curious limey! X.

I bought the pumpkin spice Nestle morsels and put them in pancakes and they were good but you're right, straight outta the bag they aren't very good. 12. Yay!!! I have been looking forward to this. I just love your pumpkin rating system. My mind has been so focused on apples getting ready for appleweek on the blog that I haven't gotten to pumpkin yet. I made a delicious pumpkin cake this weekend, so now I'm in the mood! ;-) I need to keep my eye out for a few of these!

  19. OH MY you had me at pumpkin!! I so want those donuts!! There is no Krsipy Kreme near me and it literally breaks my heart. And they don't sell them in the grocery store around here. While I'm not crazy about PSL, I do love me some pumpkin baked goods. Love this pumpkin post!

  20. OMG I love you even more. This post was amazing, that emoji is adorable and I was nodding my head through so many of these. Those Cheerios were a major disappointment. I just ate a pumpkin spice donut from Dunkin Donuts that I picked up while we were in STL this weekend. SO good. Happy Monday friend.

  21. ANDREA!!! This post was even more fun than I already knew it would be. First off, your pumpkin rating system is THE CUTEST!!! I'm totally pinning your cookies and after seeing the Pepperidge Farm ones I'm thinking I'll throw white chocolate chips in them. A perfect marriage! I saw the english muffins the other day and almost splurged (I typically by the "light" ones, but maybe I need to treat myself😉) I'm usually disappointed in the seasonal coffee creams for some strange reason, but I'm also thinking I should give the Bliss one a try. I saw the Special K in our Target, picked up and then put it back because I knew I'd want to eat half the box as a serving...LOL Pairing the caramel with an apple...GENIUS (I wish they were covered in dark chocolate though. Can you even imagine?) Laura @ Laura Like Design talked about the Noosa last week (and adding some dark choc chips to it😃) last week. I'm going to get me some and give it a try. I tried the Chobani pumpkin spice and wasn't a fan. Much to bitter and tangy for me. OK friend, if you have an Einstein bagel place near by you HAVE to get their pumpkin bagels and pumpkin cream cheese. Our family looks forward to these every fall. SOOOOO GOOOD!!! Have a great week you gorgeous pumpkin loving woman! Can't wait for pumpkin palooza 2.0.

  23. Thanks for tasting all these pumpkin things for the rest of us!!! I love a good apple butter, so I will have to try the pumpkin butter!!! I haven't gone down the food aisle at HomeGoods or TJ Maxx lately and this gives me the perfect excuse.. I will be on the look out for the Noosa yogurt too.

  32. OMG, this post makes me so happy!!!! Those pumpkin spice KK donuts are AH-mazing. Probably one of my favorite donuts ever. And I am sad to say that my Momma bought a box of the pumpkin spice Cheerios for me last year and I didn't like them. I was so disappointed! I ended up not even eating them all. :o(

  39. Love the Pumpkin Spice coffee creamer and I give it 5 pumpkins rating. Have tried the Thomas English Muffins in the pumpkin flavor and they were sort of *meh*, so I give them only 3 pumpkins in the ratings. I can't say I have tried any of the other items, but will do my best to stretch my purchasing power on perhaps one of them this week. Thanks for your ratings!!

  40. Lots of pumpkin spice offerings! Have seen lots of these at Meijer. I make a killer pumpkin roll with cream cheese filling. That's about as pumpkiny as it gets around here...ha! xoxo
