FRIDAY FAVORITES...SWEET FEBRUARY EDITION

Yay and Yay! We made it to Friday and it's sweet February. Not sure about where you are, but here it is still dreary weather wise so let's start thinking about all the sweet things we'll do this Spring and Summer. And in the meantime, enjoy a laid back, fun and cozy weekend!

1. Black Bean Hummus
Have you seen this goodness??? I LOVE Black beans, LOVE them, could eat them every single day! And I love hummus so how fun is it to try these new hummus made easy packs. Throw this seasoning pack and a can of drained black beans and blend in the blender, magic bullet or food processor.

2. "The" Book of the Year
So this came in the mail from Amazon last week and I cant wait to finish up my current read to get to it.
In-Style Magazine says: We're Calling It: This Is Going to Be the Buzziest Book of 2017
In the tradition of The Girl on the Train, The Silent Wife, and Gone Girl comes an enthralling psychological thriller that spins one woman’s seemingly good fortune, and another woman’s mysterious fate, through a kaleidoscope of duplicity, death, and deception.

3. Work Attire
The Loft top, Target bin (yes) burgundy scarf, Target flats
J.C. Penny dress by Robbie Bee

Target sweater and top, The Loft cords

4. Peplum Blues Baby
I have loved peplum since before it was back on trend. Just the right amount of sway and flounce without being oversized. The black and white stripped top in my work attire is peplum too. I usually do not wear a lot of blue but I saw this at Meijer of all places, loved how soft it was and remembered this gorgeous Vera Wang necklace I had seen at Kohl's. It matched perfectly.

5. All Things Marble
Sweet Sarah from Trendy and Tiny showcased her love of all things Marble a couple weeks ago and then last Friday, my friend Tanya from The Other Side of the Road showcased this Marble Jar B& B candle and it got me thinking. I never used to like Marble but oh how time changes. My husband loves Marble floors and we may see it this year if all pans out with our new house build.
So fresh and clean.

I LOVE this luggage HERE

And speaking of Hustle ~ this sweet baby of the fam continually makes us proud:
Just found out his picture and profile will be Indiana's Football Digest for this year. Huge Honor!

Now "Hustle" through this day and get to the sweet weekend, I hope it's GREAT for you my friends!!

  19. Ahhh - congrats to your 'baby' .. I know you are a proud momma (I had to laugh though - the arrow behind him reminded me of the old Steve Martin days where he'd wear that arrow headband) I just dated myself.

  21. I love black beans! Too bad my kids don't share my taste buds. LOL

I've read Gone Girl, but have to check out the other two. Which do you suggest first? My Amazon finger is itchy.

You already know I idolize your fashion sense and there's no question as to why. You slay, bae!

All marble everything! Why can't we be Oprah rich and marble our entire house? The struggle. Congrats to the Hustler! That's awesome!

Hope you have a fab weekend, sweetie!

  22. Is it acceptable to say that I love it all. Except maybe the book. Because I think that would stress my little high strung, anxious self out. I need that hummus in my life! And you are seriously the cutest! I love your sense of style. AND a big CONGRATULATIONS to your son! That is amazing! Have a great weekend! -Sara

  33. I love all the marble! Thanks for the shout out. I love that candle, but have to tell you that the heat from the candle flames has melted away the plastic marble "wrap" in some places. I probably need to do a better job trimming the wicks! Way to go on the mention for your baby's football playing! Have a wonderful weekend.
