What in the world do you wear in the Tweener?? You know, you stand in your closet in August thinking "Sandals or Boots?" "Shorts or Scarves?" The in between season dressing can be so hard so today I am over at The Blended Blog where I'll show you a lil more of this outfit along with several I've used to transition to the Fall Season where cozy and crisp await.........it won't be long friends, it won't be long.
This was a fresh off the beach look. I am missing the sun kissed look of summer already but super excited to have Fall begin until about January, when I'll complain, "I just want Summer to get here." The cycle of seasons is actually super cool, so hop on over to The Blended Blog and see what I've got for ya.
Happy Monday Marvelous Beauties!!

You added jackets and denim in the best way possible for all those confusing days of weather LOL!! I love your first outfit - the little peplum is great and your hair looks great girl! xo, Biana -BlovedBoston
ReplyDeleteThis is super cute, love the blue cardi on you! I just go with what the weather is like and right now it's still really hot here so summer clothes it is!

It is that time of year where deciding what to wear can be hard... but I am so excited for cooler evenings, fires in the fire pit and fall food!
ReplyDeleteThe struggle is real here in Louisiana trying to figure out what to wear during these Indian summer months that are so dang hot!! Come quickly, Fall!! Hope you had a great weekend, Girlie! Love the blue on you!
ReplyDeleteDown here, we have this struggle in October....not August. LOL. I know I will be wearing dresses and flip flops for at least two more months before it drops below 80 degrees. Love love love that top!!! And those shoes! So cute!
ReplyDeleteLoving this look on you, that tank is so pretty! Layering is key for in-between seasons when it starts off cool then gets super hot! Cheers to a fabulous week <3

ReplyDeleteThis is the perfect 'tweener' outfit! I love the colors, the sweater, and yeah, lets skip the boots for now, we'll be wearing them long enough.
ReplyDeletehaha! Isn't that the truth, Andrea?! We can't wait for fall until we are sick of the cold temperatures and want sun. It's a constant cycle! I love this flowy top and the periwinkle sweater looks so fabulous on you! Have a great start to the week!

Yes, Andrea! It's a real struggle sometimes...I mean this weather needs to get it together! Usually September is our in between month, here in Texas...it's still hot as heck during the day, but early mornings and nights can get kind of cool. Makes it so hard to get dressed.
ReplyDeleteYou look amazing! Hope you have a great Monday!

You look absolutely gorgeous Andrea! I have to admit, the in between time is one of my favorites, I'm all about a light cardigan and rolled up jeans! I hope you have an amazing start to your week! XO -Kim
ReplyDeleteThis time of year the struggle is real! I couldn't stand it anymore and had to wear booties today!
ReplyDeleteLove this look! It's something we could wear almost year round in Texas. A light sweater for air conditioning, but take it off when you're out in the heat. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteAhh, blue is such a good color on you! I love this relaxed yet chic look on you. Sometimes a cardi just helps add a little needed warmth!

I'm heading over to read it now!
ReplyDeleteThat blue color is perfect for you! Just get everything in that color :) I love a good cardi, can't wait to start wearing all of mine again.
ReplyDeleteYes. Such a strange time of year for dressing!
ReplyDeleteGoing to check it out now! :)
ReplyDeleteThat color looks great on you! Love having a cardigan to throw on and off depending on the weather!
ReplyDeleteYou are so tan! I love this transition look. I cannot wait until it gets out of the 90's during the day here so I can take advantage of it!
ReplyDeleteThis blue is so fabulous with your tan, Andrea! I am loving everything about this outfit. I never before was one to wear sandals in the transition of seasons as my feet are the first thing to get cold, but I have managed to score some pretty amazing sandals with a lot of foot coverage for this year's transition to fall and I am so excited to try out it out!

That's such a cute outfit! I love cardigans and other cute little accessories that make it easy to transition between the seasons.
ReplyDeleteGreat transitional look, Andrea! It stays quite warm during the day around here until the end of October, so I'll be wearing something like this (and be sick of it at one point because everyone else gets to wear "real" fall clothes!) for quite some time!

Love those shoes! I hate dressing/buying clothes this time of the year! I tend to either sweat buckets or freeze my tail off depending if I'm inside in the AC or outside in the heat. Such a tricky time of the year!
ReplyDeleteIn love with this cute top! The ruffled hem makes it look so feminine!
ReplyDeleteAbby of Life in the Fash Lane
Such a cute outfit! Great for the transitioning seasons :)

ReplyDeleteWell aren't you super cute! Love the jeans and tassle necklace!
ReplyDeleteLove the top and the style!
ReplyDeleteBoy, look at that tan! Love this look, what a pretty colored cardigan! I have always found this a bit challenging to show transitional looks when it is still 90 degrees here!

I own a couple of those adorable peplum camisoles from Old Navy but boy either of them hasn't made it on the blog. I need to pair both of them (since each has blue) with a blueish purple cardigan like yours. Great in between look. So far all my Fall looks have been in between season looks and I got a few more.
