Welcome to the 2nd week of The Style Perspectives Fashion and Style Link Up
with The Blended Blog and 14 fabulous ladies.
This week's theme is shades of pink. I have a feeling we're going to be seeing shades of pink everywhere this spring. Especially with one of the Pantone colors being the rose quartz, which if you asked me, being an 80s girl, I always called it dusty rose, LOL!! I've always been a fan of pinks, everything from pale baby pink to hot pink and fuchsia, just love it, especially in the spring and summer! This outfit is one of my favs so linking up with Show and Tell Tuesday for the personal style posts as this outfit is a great representation of my style and fashion loves.

I literally fell in "Love" with this Lauren Conrad lightweight knitted LOVE sweater from Kohl's. There were literally racks and racks and racks of clearance items which sometimes you just don't have time to go through all of them so how lucky did I get that this particular sweater was hanging on an end cap? This puppy came home with me for only $12 (original price $58) and I knew immediately how I was going to style it.
A little chambray button down from The Loft underneath, jazz it up with a cool statement necklace from Target, throw in my favorite white skinny jeans, also from Target and of course complete the look with my beloved Calvin Klein Calf hair leopard pumps!
I absolutely adored the softness of this outfit! This particular day we were having a family outing, so I took the pumps off and threw on some of my favorite booties and one of our sons snapped this picture and it made me feel so Spring ready, look at all those cute bunny rabbits! I felt like the pink blended right in!

this kind of pink is the most suitable for love :) it is so gentle.
ReplyDeletePink is quite likely the world's most misunderstood colour. On one hand, too much and we run the risk of walking around like Barbie. On the other hand, it's so beautiful in small doses :) I personally prefer either the softest, barely there shade (like your very very pretty sweater, Andrea) or going full tilt with a Fuchsia. Either way, pink certainly makes a statement xo
